The Huron Consulting Group has named Gothenburg Health a top performer in health care.
Huron helps organizations develop strategies, align resources and utilize technologies and data to improve operations, optimize investments and drive growth. In a healthcare setting, this translates into the best care for patients.
The 2021 Excellence in Healthcare Awards celebrate and honor those committed to improving healthcare for patients, employees, and physicians. These awards are based on survey responses and identify organizations and individuals who achieve excellence throughout the year by improving patient experiences, healthcare employee engagement, and/or physician alignment and engagement. Huron named Gothenburg Health its 2021 Excellence in Healthcare award recipient for employee engagement.

Huron specifically recognized Gothenburg Health for achieving employee engagement at the 85th percentile and highlighted the following areas as reasons for the high level of engagement:

“Our team continues to work toward our vision of being the best hospital in the region for patients to receive care, employees to work and providers to practice,” Brant said.
The award was presented at the 19th annual What’s Right in Health Care® conference, which took place Aug. 10-11 in Denver, CO. The conference attracts administrative and clinical healthcare professionals from the U.S., Canada, and Australia.
