Evening of Blooms to Celebrate Women’s Health Month
April showers may bring May flowers, but this April, Gothenburg Health is planting the seeds of wellness with an event focused on celebrating women’s health.
Gothenburg Health is hosting its Evening of Blooms: Empowering Women’s Health on Thursday, April 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Garden Blessings in Gothenburg. The event is designed to promote Women’s Health Month in May and offer local women a chance to relax, learn, and connect.
Attendees can sip drinks provided by the Tipsy Trailer, enjoy light snacks from BarP Bakery and Fresh Seasons Market, and shop the vibrant spring selection at Garden Blessings with a 10% discount during the event. All women present will be entered into a drawing for the $100 Grand Bloom Giveaway, which will be announced at 6 p.m.
“This is a fun and meaningful way for us to raise awareness around women’s health,” said Dr. Anna Dalrymple of Gothenburg Health. “We’re excited to meet women where they are and provide information that helps them take charge of their well-being.”
Dr. Dalrymple and other healthcare professionals from Gothenburg Health will be on-site to answer questions and share important information about preventive care, including mammograms, pelvic exams, pap smears, and Direct Access Testing (DAT) screenings. These screenings allow women to obtain baseline health information such as bone density and cardiac calcium scores without a physician’s order.
The event will also include mental health resources tailored to women in all stages of life—from pregnancy and postpartum to perimenopause and menopause.
“There’s something for everyone at this event,” Dalrymple said. “Whether you’re focused on heart health, reproductive health, or emotional well-being, we want women to feel supported and empowered.”
The Evening of Blooms is free to attend, and no purchase is necessary. Organizers encourage women to bring a friend and enjoy a night out focused on self-care and connection.
