Drew Rubalcava, CRNA, Joins Team at Gothenburg Health
Gothenburg Health is pleased to announce the addition of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), Drew Rubalcava to our team of providers.
Originally from Arizona, Drew Rubalcava completed his undergrad in nursing at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. Drew and wife Cassie then moved to Buaffalo, New York for anesthesia school at the University at Buffalo where Drew also joined the United States Air Force. The Air Force assigned the Rubalcavas to WPAFB in Dayton, Ohio upon completion of anesthesia school. Drew served there for three years as a Captain, then separated from the military. In order to move a little closer to family, the Rubalcavas settled in North Platte and have been there for the last 2 years.
"We chose Gothenburg Health because I really like small towns and wanted to practice at a CRNA only practice," stated Drew when asked what attracted him to practice at Gothenburg Health. "Gothenburg Health performs a wide variety of cases on a wide variety of ages. Also, we have heard only great things about living in Gothenburg and are excited to move there when we can find a house that will fit us."
Drew fills the CRNA position recently vacated by Jackie Erb. Drew started at Gothenburg Health on June 3.
