Gothenburg Health Foundation Introduces Simplified Annual Sponsorships for 2025
The Gothenburg Health Foundation has unveiled new annual sponsorship opportunities for 2025, offering businesses and individuals a streamlined way to support its mission. With this new option, sponsors can make a single commitment to ensure representation at both of the Foundation’s signature events – the Gala and the Golf Tournament – eliminating the need for separate sponsorship arrangements.
The 2025 Gala, themed "A Night of Impact," will take place on Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Dayspring Bank Event Center in the new Impact Center. Guests can look forward to a cocktail hour, a dinner served by the local FFA chapter, silent and live auctions, and entertainment by DJ Jab.
Proceeds from the Gala will benefit the Foundation’s efforts to enhance maternity care in Gothenburg and surrounding rural communities. Funds raised will help update obstetrics equipment and provide ongoing training to ensure families in the region have access to exceptional maternity care close to home.
The Foundation’s annual Golf Tournament is set for Friday, Aug. 22, and will feature a four-person scramble with a shotgun start. The event includes green fees, cart rental, breakfast, lunch, and a range of fun challenges and prizes.
Proceeds from the Golf Tournament fund scholarships for graduating seniors pursuing degrees in the medical field. Over the years, the Foundation has awarded 46 scholarships, with many recipients returning to practice medicine locally, supporting the future of healthcare in the community and beyond.
While single-event sponsorships remain available, the annual option simplifies the process and provides businesses with greater exposure throughout the year. Sponsors also play a vital role in ensuring access to quality healthcare and supporting local students in their pursuit of medical careers.
The Foundation encourages commitments to annual sponsorships by Jan. 31, 2025. For more information or to secure a sponsorship, contact Roxanne Converse-Whiting at 308-537-1051 or via email at rconversewhiting@gothenburghealth.org.
