Education and Training:
Dr. Yerra received his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi; New Delhi, India. He then completed an Internal Medicine Residency at East Tennessee State University, Jonson City, TN. Following residency, he completed fellowships in General Cardiology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, Shreveport, LA; in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Chicago Medical Center, Chicago, IL; and Non-Invasive Cardiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA.

Specialization:
Dr. Yerra is Board-Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and its subspecialties of Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He is also certified in Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac CT and Echocardiography. Dr. Yerra’s focus of practice is in preventative cardiology as well as diagnostic (invasive) and medical treatments.

Practice Locations:
Dr. Yerra sees patients at the NHI Kearney office as well as inpatients at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearny. Additionally, he sees patients at communities in central Nebraska.

Family:
Dr. Yerra and his wife live in Kearney with their two young children. They are excited to make the move from the east coast and look forward to the friendships they will create and supporting Kearney and the surrounding communities.
